Quality Assurance

Overview

The Section is responsible for control of Company process documents, monitoring of these processes against standards and preparation of quality assurance reports.

Functions

  • Auditing operations and processes through scheduled audits with an aim of reducing wastage in the value chain.
  • Developing systems for monitoring and evaluation in order to enhance aspects of manufacturing and service delivery in respect to quality, cost and timeliness in delivery.
  • Monitoring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements in areas of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety for sustenance of a clean and safe environment.
  • Providing periodic technical information on the performance of value chain for decision making, control and improvement of operations.
  • Recommending adoption of best practices and enhancement of continual improvement.
  • Report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Mission

To carry out accounting and auditing of all CSC processes and the quality management system through monitoring and evaluation programmes while ensuring policies, procedures and activities are in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.

Objectives

The objectives of the Quality Assurance Section are as follows:

  1. To subject operations and processes to scheduled audits with an aim of reducing wastage in the value chain.
  2. To develop systems for monitoring and evaluation in order to enhance aspects of manufacturing and service delivery in respect to quality, cost and timeliness in delivery.
  3. To comply with all relevant statutory requirements in areas of Environment, Health and Safety for sustenance of a clean and safe environment.
  4. To provide periodic informed technical information on the value chain for decision making, control and improvement of operations.
  5. To initiate establishment of operational best practice and enhancement of continual improvement.
  6. To audit preliminary operational results and follow through with nonconforming product and service.
  7. To report and advise on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
